Zenfolio | the 30 birds | Khangarh Album
Khangarh, a quaint, quiet, casbah in the heart of Southern Punjab (52 km south of Multan). We had the pleasure of visiting the region in 2012, after floods had devastated this region. The imam of Khangarh's central mosque-of-many-colors invited us to visit the town and surrounding villages. (The imam, incidentally, is also a mango farmer.) We visited schools and madrasas throughout the region that were transformed into depots for providing humanitarian assistance to flood-affected regions.
